The Surveyor will inspect and report on the condition and adequacy of all the readily accessible load-bearing elements of the property (not just a particular problem area). The inspection will include the roof structure, floors, walls, lintels, and beams. We will advise on the structural stability of the building together with recommendations for remedial works. It will give a detailed description of the construction and inherent defects that may occur over a longer period of time. The report will recommend what needs to be done to rectify problems or what further investigations may be necessary.

Valuation is not normally provided, but can be if requested.

Our land surveying team provide a complete range of land surveying services including topographical surveys, setting out boundaries, determining boundaries, and the provision of Land Registry compliant plans.

Our topographical surveys are carried out using Trimble Total Stations & GPS systems. The information is recorded using on-board data capture which ensures the accuracy of the data. The data is then transferred to our CAD software. The processed data can be provided in a range of formats.

We carry out measured building surveys and produce scaled floor plans, elevations, sections and street-scenes. Each element of the property can be surveyed independently or as part of a fully connected co-ordinated survey including floor plans, elevations, and topographical survey to a common grid and level datum. Precise measurements are taken using EDM (Electronic Distance Measurement) instruments and transferred to our AutoCAD software. Plans can be provided in a range of formats.
